Our Story
Noraik Armenian Dance Ensemble
was officially founded on February 21st, 2019, by visionary choreographer and artistic director, Anna Bedrosian. It is Ottawa’s first and only Armenian folk dance studio, offering classes for children and youth on a fully volunteer and nonprofit basis. Through the art of dance, Noraik fosters a strong connection to Armenian culture and heritage.
The ensemble’s mission is to preserve and promote Armenian cultural and folkloric dances in an engaging and inclusive environment. Noraik also shares the richness of Armenian tradition with wider audiences through participation in multicultural festivals and artistic collaborations in Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal.
