Artistic Director
Anna Bedrosian
Anna Bedrosian was born in Baghdad, Iraq. From an early age, she developed a lifelong appreciation for Armenian culture through music, poetry, and dance. She cultivated a passion for dance in particular, embracing both Armenian and a variety of other cultural traditions.
In 2014, Anna began teaching dance at Ottawa’s Ararat Armenian School, where she dedicated herself to developing young dancers’ skills and cultural understanding. Recognizing the need for continued cultural opportunities as her students grew, she founded Noraik Armenian Dance Ensemble in 2019. Under her leadership, Noraik has flourished, showcasing the beauty of Armenian dance, music, and costume to the wider Canadian audience at various festivals and cultural events.
Through her dedication, Anna strives to promote Armenian culture and educate broader audiences about its rich artistic traditions.
